WHAT: Pitching & Catching Fundamentals: A Spring Traning clinic presented by H2 Baseball.

WHEN: February 14-17, 2011
General Information
PURPOSE: The H2Baseball pitching and catching clinic is designed to give pitchers, catchers and youth baseball coaches the benefit of experienced professional instructors in a Spring Training Environment..
PROFESSIONAL INSTRUCTION:Your coaches will be former Major League players like Keith Comstock (Mariners, Padres, Giants) currently a pitching coach in the Texas Rangers system; Mike Moore (A’s, Mariners, Tigers); Gil Heredia (A’s, Expos, Giants) currently a pitching coach in the Arizona Diamondbacks system; and Bob Didier (Braves, Orioles) a roving minor league catching instructor and manager in the Diamondbacks’ system.
DAILY SCHEDULE: Your instruction will be in all aspects of pitching and catching – fundamentals of mechanics, pickoffs and holding runners, defense and pitch selection. Part of the day will be devoted to drills, followed by game simulations in which each pitcher and catcher will face batters and base runners under the scrutiny and guidance of the coaching staff. (Video analysis packages will also be available.) In the evening, the coaching staff will be on hand to answer questions or just talk baseball.
LOCKER ROOM: All participants will have a locker in a Major League Spring Training locker room. You will be cared for by professional trainers who will also offer you insights in how to condition yourself to pitch and catch competitively. The locker room includes daily laundry service, continental breakfast and refreshments at the end of the day.
Hitting & Fielding
WHAT: Hitting & Fielding Fundamentals: A Spring Traning clinic presented by H2 Baseball.

PURPOSE: The H2Baseball hitting and position play fundamentals clinic is designed to give players and youth baseball coaches the benefit of professional instructors in a Spring Training environment.
PROFESSIONAL INSTRUCTION:Your coaches will be former Major League players and coaches like hitting instructor Jack Daugherty (Rangers), utility infielder Shooty Babitt (Athletics), and All-Star outfielder Dave Henderson (Mariners, Athletics, Red Sox, Royals).
DAILY SCHEDULE: Each day will be split between sessions of hitting and defensive fundamentals. Part of the day will be devoted to drills, followed by live game situations in which each player will hit and play defense under the scrutiny and guidance of the coaching staff. (Video analysis packages will also be available.) In the evening, the coaching staff will be on hand to answer questions or just talk baseball.

Fees
Cactus Classic Spring Training Clinic
Individual: $695 per player, due by Jan. 15. After Jan. 15, fee is $795. Space is limited.
Multiple events: Any players taking advantage of multiple events in the Cactus Classic series, i.e., Family Ties, Spring Training or President’s Day, may take a 20% discount on the combined fees of their selected events. When registering on-line, please note that you are selecting multiple events.
Hotels
The 2011 Cactus Classic fees do not include a built-in lodging option; rather H2Baseball has agreements with two hotels for special Cactus Classic rates during the 2011 February events.
Double Tree Tucson Reid Park: $89 a night (double or king) plus tax (Double Tree is approximately 10 minutes from the Kino Sports Complex, located at 455 South Alvernon Way. Contact Double Tree national reservations at (800) 222-8733 and identify yourself as being with the Cactus Classic Spring Training event. Hotel Arizona: $74 a night (double or king) plus tax (Hotel Arizona is approximately 15 minutes from the Kino Sports Complex, located at 181 West Broadway in downtown Tucson.
